Cleaning

Q: How many housekeepers do you send to clean?
A: Our normal team consists of two housekeepers. On rare occasions, we send teams of three or four.

Q: Do I need to provide supplies or will the teams bring them?
A: We provide all of our own supplies and equipment. If you prefer we use your items, please let the office know beforehand.
Q: Do I need to do anything before the housekeepers arrive?
A: To make our house cleaning services more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, and other household items before our visit.

Q: What if I'm not happy with the cleaning?
A: We stand behind our work. If you're not 100% satisfied with your cleaning, we'll come back and re-clean it.

Q: Can I set an appointment time?
A: We are unable to set exact appointment times however you can set time parameters for your cleaning.

Q: Can I request the same housekeepers each visit?
A: Yes, we will make every effort to have the same team clean your home each visit but it's not always possible due to illness, vacations or days off.

Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare for a move-out clean?
A: We do need electricity and water to clean so please make sure your utilities are still functioning.

Q: What won't LoryMaids teams clean?
A: For health reasons, our teams will not clean blood, feces, vomit or urine from animals nor humans.

Billing and Pricing

Q: When do you pay?
A: We charge cash or check on the day of the cleaning once all work is completed.
​
Q: How much notice do I need to give to change or cancel an appointment?
A: You need to change/cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit. If your change/cancellation is less than 24 hours notice, we may charge a $40.00 late cancellation fee.

Q: What happens if I don't complete my five visit minimum when I set up recurring service?
A: We review each account and determine if an upcharge is necessary.

Q: How do I stop my service?
A: Email or text message or call us. You can stop whenever you like.

Home Access
​
Q: How do the maids enter my home?
A: Clients are either home, hide a key somewhere or provide a key for us to keep on file.

Q: Can you keep a copy of my key so I don't have to hide it each visit?
A: Sure, we are happy to keep a copy of your key safe in our office.
